Since these fields share the same philosophical foundation, they complement one another. The yoga syllabus includes topics like the philosophy of yoga, the fundamentals of yoga studies, the circulatory system, the physiology of pranayama, the nervous system, the endocrine system, various asanas, and their consequences, etc. Almost every topic is shared by the two disciplines. Pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, and forensic medicine fundamentals. The focus of the studies is primarily on meditation, food, and natural medicine.
