B.Voc in Library Science Program
Overview

The B. Voc in Library Science program is a one-year undergraduate degree that is divided into two semesters. The course focuses on the management and upkeep of the library's numerous resources. Most book lovers who wish to learn more about useful resources and information about books pick the B program. Students who enroll in this course learn more about book management and consumer demands for recommending various books on various topics.

Students must complete an application and wait for the college to announce the cut-off before proceeding to the librarian course. They will be able to accept admission to the college of their choice if they pass the cut-off. There might also be an entrance exam in some circumstances.

  • ◉ Archivist : An archivist is a professional who is responsible for assembling, cataloging, preserving as well as managing valuable collections of historical information. An archivist can work with a range of public and private sector organizations for various roles.
  •  Cataloguer : A cataloguer manages the catalog of different materials at a library. The professional prepares bibliographic and item records for journals, monographs, and other library material.
  •  Consultant : A library consultant consults as well as provides problem-solving assistance to administrators and governing boards related to library plans, management, governance, funding, etc.
  •  Deputy Librarian : A deputy librarian supports the work of the Assistant Librarian as well as the Library Assistant. The professional usually reports on library improvement, development, and budgeting issues.
